Description
A navigational key provides details for map use: red dotted lines indicate trails, “X” marks picnic spots, and solid red lines represent roads. In addition rivers are in blue, and the Southern Railroad is indicated by railroad tracks. A striking compass rose in the upper left corner, colored in red, white, black, and blue, features an illustration of a fireplace at its center. Framing the artwork is a decorative double border, consisting of a thin black-and-red striped pattern enclosed within an outer light blue border, delicately detailed with white ribband motifs. This artistic and informative map captures the essence of Tryon, offering charming visual guide to recreational and historic sites in the region.
