Victorian Slanted Stool

13.5 inches high, 28 inches long, 11 inches deep
An oak stool with a rectangular rounded top, a cut out handle-hold for lifting, sloped front extension with two opposing brass plates having incised repeating diamond pattern treads, shaped apron on each side, all supported on four rectangular tapering legs. The slope allows for elevating one’s feet at an angle. This piece of furniture was probably intended as a shoe shining or gout stool.
Condition: Generally very good with the usual overall light wear.
