Description

Given the loose rendering and thumbtack holes in the corners, this drawing was probably a preliminary study by a designer for a specific client, or perhaps to be kept on file to show various options to future clients. It is numbered “136” upper right.

Provenance: James Lamantia, Jr. (1923-2011). At the time of his death, Lamantia was Emeritus Professor of Architecture at Tulane University in New Orleans. He was also a practicing architect, and an artist.
