A colorful view of Columbia College, New York City in 1828. At that time it was at Park Place in lower Manhattan, near City hall, where it remained until 1857. The subtitle indicates that it was based on the original “Drawn and Engraved expressly for the New York Mirror and Ladies’ Literary Gazette. 1828.”
