Watercolor landscape from a path on the west side of Central Park, looking south toward a pedestrian bridge and the two towers of the San Remo. The sunlit planes of the architectural elements contrast with the rich green foliage of the trees and shrubs. A few small figures walking through the park almost blend with their surroundings. The San Remo is an apartment building on Central Park West between 74th and 75th Streets. It was completed in the early 1930s, which helps date this painting.
