Expertly rendered miniature view of the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island with blue waters under a bright sky filled with white clouds. A sailboat and red buoy are in the foreground, steamship and other boats in the background, New Jersey hills to the west, Hudson River receding in the distance, New York City skyline and Brooklyn Bridge to the east. Deftly rendered, this painting is noteworthy for its attention to the effects of light as it plays upon the water, filters through the clouds, and softly illuminates the background.

Condition: Generally very good with the usual overall light toning, wear, soiling, handling. Paper attached (at an early date) to card, the card with chipped and stained margins, can be matted out.
