Physics or engineering classroom chart on rollers illustrating six types of wheels, labeled A through F. “A” is the pendulum clock mechanism invented in 1656 by Dutch mathematician, astronomer, physicist and horologist Christiaan Huygens, and “B” appears to be a coil for the clock mechanism. The rest appear to be different types of waterwheels, with “F” being the turbine built by French engineer Benoît Fourneyron in 1827. The parts of the wheels are labeled in lower case letters.

Based on another poster we have in a similar style and mounted on the same kind of rollers, we believe this one probably was published by the State Educational Publishing House in Prague in the 1950s.

Condition: Generally very good with the usual overall expected toning, handling, soft creases, wear for an educational chart.
