Unusual and rare map of Manhattan, together with portions of boroughs of New York, Westchester, and New Jersey, color-printed on paper and embossed in relief to show location of buildings. Parks, trees, piers, waterways, train-tracks, etc. are also shown, but no place names are indicated, as issued. The map includes a rectangular inset table of statistics of New York as a commercial port. It folds in three-sections into its own self covers. The covers are layered with thin marquetry wood, decorated with a raised gold seal of The Chamber of Commerce, and have a printed title in gold for the 144th Annual Banquet of The Chamber of Commerce, November 21, 1912, held at the Waldorf Astoria and the name of the original owner, Paul M. Warburg.
Accompanying the map is ribbon-tied paper program, having raised gold seal of The Chamber of Commerce and gold-printed title, decorative Art Nouveau illustrated title page copyright The Gorham Co., and with banquet menu, toasts (including one by Elihu Root, U.S. Senator from New York), officers (including J. Pierpont Morgan).
