A rare oversized oak bookstand for holding approximately 10 to 12 folio atlases. The books are set at an angle to sit in place and display the spines. It can be set on a large table or on the floor. The design is in the taste of the Arts and Crafts Mission Style, made from oak with arched sides, simple x-form curule cross stretcher support legs and cross slats joined by exposed “through tenons” ending in casters.

Condition: Generally very good with the usual overall light shrinkage and wear.
