A rectangular oak late Victorian box, with various compartments opening by decorative brass hinges. Loop carrying handle. One hinge has an engraved inscription indicating it was presented as an award in 1891 by The Widnes Athletic Club. Widnes is a town in Cheshire, England. Probably originally intended for cigars.

Very good condition.
