A large and handsome picture easel of typical form, of mahogany. in the neoclassical taste, the arched pediment with gadrooned decoration centered by carved rosette, over a scroll and shell-carved frieze, the tripod base with carved adorsed dolphins with intertwined tails  between the legs, and having a cross member picture rail tray, adjustable up and down to accommodate picture size with thumbscrew hardware.

Condition: Generally very good with the usual overall light wear, handling.
