Interesting and unusual working hand-made model of a simple framework industrial elevator shaft and elevator. The rectangular framed platform elevator car, with low screened retaining fences on either side, moves up or down within the shaft. It is raised or lowered by turning a metal crank at the top of the shaft, thereby engaging a simple string mechanism attached to the top of the elevator.
See video of the crank mechanism in action below.
Condition: Very good overall with the usual surface wear and wear, handling, shrinkage, minor cracks, oxidation to metal.
