Really cool wooden decorative ax, suitable for collectors or prop rental.
A wooden folk art ax, the oversized red-painted blade highlighted with a silver painted edge, and having a simple natural wooden flat rectangular handle. It was likely intended for ceremonial or parade use for a fraternal organization; numerous examples of similar form from the Independent Order of Odd Fellows are known.
Condition: Generally very good, the wood with the usual overall light wear, toning, handling; the original paint with the usual overall light wear, toning, and abrasions.
