Two works from the George Glazer Gallery were among the nearly 70 artworks from various cultures and eras included in Cosmologies, a thematic exhibition at the James Cohan Gallery in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City. The exhibition explored images of “the universal” from the 10th century to the present, intended as “a visual montage of the many approaches to giving shape and order to a world view.” On loan from the George Glazer Gallery were a Homann celestial map and an Italian Ptolemaic armillary sphere c. 1900.
