J.N. Ding, also known as Ding Darling, was a Pulitzer Prize winning American cartoonist. He is also known for his contribution to wildlife conservation, having started the Federal Duck Stamp program.
Henry Grantland Rice, was an American sportswriter known for his elegant prose and poetry. He is well known for his poem Alumnus Football ending it is “not that you won or lost — but how you played the game.
Condition: Generally very good, recently professionally cleaned and deacidified and backed on Japanese tissue to flatten original folds, with minor remaining toning, wear, handling.
