This article about gentlemen’s accessories showed a James Wilson 13-inch globe from the gallery one one spread. The caption on the opposite page reads, “American globe manufacturer James Wilson produced this terrestrial globe, which would have been sold with a celestial version, in 1831. It is available through George D. Glazer.” The globe has since been sold but we still have it pictured here.
