    Hound Dog Form Inkwell Box

    3.5 inches high, 2.25 inches wide, 3 inches deep

    A charming carved wood inkwell in the form of a hound dog head with bright eyes that opens with the top of the head on hinges to reveal a a brass cup with a hinged domed cap enclosing a glass bottle inkwell. The domed cap is fitted on the inside to seal the inkwell when closed and not in use. The dog is realistically carved of hard wood with dark stained or painted highlights and has orange glass eyes with black pupils.
