The 10-inch terrestrial globe surmounted by tin hour dial, within calibrated half meridian raised on a metal base enclosing two reference guides published by Replogle, c. 1952: World O Fun and The Story of the Globe.
Intended for young students, the globe features simple cartography, major international air-routes shown with bold white lines, and pictures of airplanes, ships, an Eskimo in igloo, animals such as a fish, starfish, penguin, and seagull.
