This educational children’s globe decorated with popular Disney cartoon characters invites children to “Find out about the world with us -- it’s fun!” The terrestrial globe is canted on an angle on a round base decorated with colorful characters including Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck.  Disney characters also appear on the globe itself, sometimes with lighthearted instructional captions.  For example, Mickey and Minnie Mouse stand facing each other holding hands while Minnie says, “I'm standing in Sunday And Mickey's in Monday Because of Int. Date Line."  Other characters on the globe include Donald Duck’s nephews and Tinkerbell.

The globe shows Vietnam as such and the Belgian Congo, dating its publication to after 1954 but before June 30, 1960.
