Set of 10 red leather bound books, legal history, the lives of the Chancellors of England. "Created for the Law Society of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland." Gilt decoration on spine and large gilt seal on front cover: "The Law Society of the United Kingdom. Instituted, 1827. Incorporated, II, W, IV, Reincorporated, Viii, VIC."

First volume includes presentation pastedown bookplate from the Law Society. "Presented to Mr. Thomas Richard Glyn, who served his clerkship, before admission as a solicitor of the Supreme Court, to Messes Norton, Rose, Norton and Brewer, of London- Edward F. Barton President." Each volume with bookplate of presentation owner Thomas Rich Glyn.
