Charming illustration of American fire carriage, with rolled up hose. Marked verso in pencil: "Silver hose carriage, belonging to Amity Fire Company, Captain J. M. Carvell, member, given by his daughter."
The Amity Hose Company No. 38 was in the New York City Fire Department.
