Very large, rare photograph of the Wall Street showing the New York Stock Exchange and other historic buildings. The vitality of the financial district is demonstrated by the hundreds of brokers meeting in the street amidst automobiles, including a "National" car in the foreground. This also shows the important role of the streets of early New York as arteries for movement and meeting places for people. A sign on one of the buildings is for the "Broker's Café Restaurant." American flags are hung from various buildings and a large one is suspended over the street.
