Pair of watercolors of parrots, cut into symmetrical shapes resembling a cartouche (the emblem found on a map or globe). These might be design studies for a screen, wallpaper or decorative arts objects. Each painting shows a colorful parrot perched on a branch with bamboo leaves and a hazy landscape in the background.
