Double hemisphere celestial chart showing the constellations fully delineated according to classical mythology, with newly discovered constellations formed as scientific instruments in the Southern Hemisphere. Borders in the Baroque taste decorated with cherubs and eagle.

Du Sauzet was a prolific French publisher active in Amsterdam. In 1734 he issued his "Atlas Portatif," a continuation of the Mercator/Hondius "Atlas Minor." See KOEMAN: ME 208.
