19 inches high, base 10 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches
Sold, please inquire as to the availability of similar items.

A realistically modeled chromed airplane with plexi-glass propeller on spiral turned chromed rod, mounted on an ebonized wooden tear-drop shaped base with a ball and chain and plaque.

This trophy was made for the Aero Model Club in Vrsovice, a section of Prague, Czech Republic. The use of English words in the name of the club (see detail photo of base) indicates an interest in appearing modern at the time. The ball and chain on the base most likely symbolizes the gravitational pull of the earth. The ebonized wooden base appears to have been made from a section of an actual airplane propeller.
