Simplified version of the state seal of Nevada is featured in this decorative plaque, most likely made for a political convention or a fraternal lodge. Set within original gold-painted round frame with applied raised stars. The seal was adopted by the state legislature in 1886, a composite picture representing mining, agriculture, industry and the scenic mountains.
