Description

Karel Lodewijk (sometimes written Carl Ludwig) Blume was a Dutch botanist, author and director of the Rijks Herbarium in Leiden . He traveled in Java and issued his major work on the plants of the Indonesian island in forty-two parts (irregularly issued) between 1828 and 1851.
