Pair of handmade planetary globes depicting Mars and Venus. Each has a colorful painted surface, raised topography of composition material, and applied decal regional names. They are done with careful attention to scientific detail.
Each globe is raised on a simple metal stand, surmounted by metal hour disc, with metal half meridian and bases (Venus with calibrated meridian, Mars meridian uncalibrated). Longitudinal lines are shown as scope cross-hairs. Locations listed on Mars include Elysium Planitia, Utopia Planitia, Amazonis Planitia, Olympus Mons, and Valles Marineris.
