A unique trophy, presented to a Russian cosmonaut in recognition of his contribution to the exploration of outer space. A variety of trophies, artifacts, and memorabilia from the Soviet space exploration program were consigned by various cosmonauts to Sotheby’s, New York, in two different sales in the 1990s.
