The terrestrial globe canted at an angle, raised on a Mission oak stand comprised of an angled rectangular support mortised within central rectangular standard, raised on a chamfered square base.
This globe was sold by Atlas School Supply Company, most likely imported from W. & A.K. Johnston of London and Edinburgh. For example, it has characteristic Johnston ocean currents and the standard Johnston legend under the cartouche. St. Petersburg is shown, indicating a date before 1914.
