A handsome small terrestrial globe, an ideal size for desk or shelf.
The terrestrial globe surmounted by metal hour circle, with full calibrated gilt meridian, in a mahogany stand comprised of four balusters supporting a horizon band on a rounded x-form base. Oceans are green (yellowed blue), geographic entities are various cream and green tones. Steamship routes indicated. Leningrad is shown indicating a date after 1924, and Constantinople rather than Istanbul is shown, indicating a date before c. 1930-32. The cartography is fairly detailed even though this is a small globe.
