The terrestrial globe in full meridian, raised on a turned ebonized stand with central baluster standard, and dish base. Globe in good condition, noting a few scattered darkened areas, as expected on Schedler globes. Joseph and Herman Schedler, immigrants from Germany to the United States, produced a variety of table and floor globes, principally for educational use.
