Two academic sculpture studies, each depicting a classical Greek or Roman statue of a male nude -- one from the front, the other from the back. The figure rests his upraised right arm upon his head and his left arm on a tree stump, upon which hangs his quiver of arrows. The subject is quite possibly Apollo since he is often depicted in art with a quiver with arrows as one of his attributes.
