Alvin “Al” Lambert was a staff photographer for the Brooklyn Daily Eagle newspaper. The Brooklyn Public Library has 123 photos in its Historic Brooklyn Photographs Collection that Lambert took for the paper between 1940 and 1958.
The emblem of the New York Allied Printing Trades Council Union appears in the lower margin.
Condition: Generally very good with the usual light overall toning and wear. Some minor damp-staining outer margins, can be matted out. Mounted on cardboard, likely when issued, appears stable.
