Photographs of Arabian horses taken at the picturesque Lazy VV Ranch in the Rocky Mountains. Photojournalist Tad Horton visited the horse-breeding ranch, 50 miles from Denver, Colorado, to photograph "Garama" and others for an article that appeared in Look magazine in the 1960s. His pictures document day-to-day life at the ranch -- the horses graze, run freely in the mountains, and give birth.
Condition: Generally very good with the usual overall toning and wear. Some mounted to board as issued. Some with the photographer's stamped signature.
