Portrait bust commemorating the first solo transatlantic airflight by Charles Lindbergh in 1927. It features a handsome likeness of Lindbergh embellished with an airplane wing at the shoulders above an airplane propeller support inscribed “Lindbergh Spirit of St. Louis May 20th 21st.” It is signed in the back in the casting and raised on a marble base.
Condition: Very good, the metal finish now oxidized.
