Painting of a lush bouquet of blue, white and orange flowers with green foliage, dramatically silhouetted against a black background.  The artist takes a stylized approach, emphasizing the graceful, curving contours of the blossoms, which include roses, morning glories and various types of lilies.  The composition is somewhat reminiscent of the work of the 18th century botanical painter Barbara Regina Dietzsch, who also painted cut flower bouquets floating against a black background.  The painting is mounted in a gilt frame.

Condition:  Generally very good with the usual overall light toning and wear.  Frame good with some restored chips to gilding.
