House of Cards

Original stage set design featuring four towers with a striking geometric design of playing card motifs.  Gold flag poles held by chains lean from the top, suggesting castle towers or the pageantry of a royal court.  This was possibly a modernist design for a production based on Alice in Wonderland, in which Alice encounters the Queen of Hearts and her playing-card courtiers.

Condition:  Generally good with the usual expected light wear, soiling, toning.  Horizontal tape residue in top and bottom margins, approximately 4 x ¾ inch, and faint mat burn, can be matted out when reframed.
