Three original studies of a 1938 Mercedes Benz 540 K. executed in loose, sketch style.  The 540K was a powerful car with a 180 hp engine and the fastest automobile of its time, with a top speed of 170 km/h (about 105 mph).  Manufactured from 1936 to 1939, the elegant, streamlined styling of the chassis made it a popular car with celebrities of the time.
