Three linoleum cut prints of seated and reclining nude women. They show a Cubist influence often present in 1950s American art.

Gerson Lieber was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1921. He studied art in Hungary while stationed there in World War II. When he returned to New York City after the war, he studied printmaking with Will Barnet at the Art Students League and Gabor Peterdi at the Brooklyn Museum . His prints were widely acclaimed and exhibited, including exhibitions at Associated American Artists and the Alex Rosenberg Gallery. Although he has principally produced paintings since the mid-1950s, he continues to make prints as well. Lieber now lives in East Hampton, New York, where a major retrospective of his art took place in 2003-04 at the Guild Hall Museum.

Condition: Generally very good with the usual overall light toning, wear, soft creases. Some stray ink and inpainted ink, as issued.
