An unusual aluminum plaque relief map of Long Island that depicts depths of the surrounding waters in three dimensions. The key states that 1/8 of an inch represents 1 mile in distance or 60 feet of depth. Underwater topography is painted black, while dry land is unpainted aluminum. Simple cartography, with only Long Island and surrounding states named.
Condition: Very good with the usual overall oxidation and wear, minor scraping of black paint.
