The terrestrial globe in calibrated chromed half meridian, raised on a mahogany base with turned baluster central standard and large turned round dish base.

This so-called News of the World Business Globe extensively shows shipping routes and railways. The News of the World is the name of a British newspaper for whom this globe was probably made.

Geographical divisions are brightly colored in outline in green, yellow and orange. Manchukuo shown. Rio de Oro in Yellow then Green.
