Weber Costello Wire

The terrestrial globe canted on an angle on a twisted wire stand, ending in hoop base.  Small globes on simple stands such as these were made for students, designed to be inexpensive so all students in the classroom could have one at their desks while the teacher taught the geography lesson on a large globe at the front of the classroom.

Although the globe is copyrighted 1909, it shows Leningrad, dating it to after 1924.
