| Boldly carved head of a roaring lion with a flowing mane and a fierce expression, possibly from a circus or other entertainment. It was evidently intended to be hung high on a wall, as the lion's open jaw is even more dramatic when viewed from below. Signed by the artist on one side and dated on the other. |
