$3,600

A handsome mid Victorian oak hall bench.  It has a rectangular plank seat with reeded curved supports at each end, a rectangular frieze, and four turned legs.

Would be useful in a modern interior in a hall or library, at the end of a bed, or as a window bench.

Condition: Very good with the usual overall wear and shrinkage.  Wood with nice warm patina.  Four later screws inserted from top into frieze, a very old repair and unobtrusive, especially if a cushion is to be added.
