His painting <strong>Botanical Harmony<\/strong> remains a favorite poster subject today.<\/p>\n<p>Condition: Generally very good with little to no toning. In one, the trumpet-shaped blossoms of lavender morning glories are set against a tangle of foliage. In the other, the heavy blooms of pink roses frame a sunlit field beyond, down a hill. The pictures interestingly combine a strong sense of sculptural form of the flowers with an almost baroque sense of motion in the compositions.
