This book is one of nine he has written, the most recent being <strong>Greek and Roman Technology: A Sourcebook <\/strong>(London: Routledge, 1997), and several chapters of <strong>Handbook of Ancient Water Technology <\/strong>(Leiden: Brill, 1999). He has directed or participated in underwater excavations at a number of Roman harbor sites in Italy and Israel. He received his bachelor\u2019s and doctoral degrees from Harvard University and has been a professor in the Department of Greek and Roman Studies at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, since 1976. Oleson is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Condition: Interior contents generally very good with little to no wear. Covers very good with usual light wear to extremities and fading.
