They are presumably for a play, opera, or ballet and stylistically appear to be European, 18th century. All of the characters wear powder wigs and are elegantly dressed in high-style formal clothing decorated with embroidery and fancy accents such as lace, silver, and gold trim. Work No. 24 is also decorated with glitter. Three of the characters are named: Ealinor; Lino; and Dominica, a governess. Each work is signed and numbered in the lower right by the designer and inscribed with his detailed notes about the fabrics to be employed, especially colors.<\/p>\n
Product description continues below.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":4430,"template":"","meta":{"wds_primary_product_brand":0,"wds_primary_product_cat":0,"footnotes":""},"product_brand":[],"product_cat":[4222],"product_tag":[195,95,61,1054,2125,2132,1863,41,1757,2163,1859,1860,1858,1542],"class_list":{"0":"post-4429","1":"product","2":"type-product","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","6":"product_cat-archive-sold-art-design","7":"product_tag-18th-century","8":"product_tag-1920s","9":"product_tag-20th-century","10":"product_tag-art","11":"product_tag-costume","12":"product_tag-de-gray","13":"product_tag-design","14":"product_tag-french","15":"product_tag-painting","16":"product_tag-play","17":"product_tag-theater","18":"product_tag-theatre","19":"product_tag-theatrical","20":"product_tag-watercolor","21":"post","22":"post-with-thumbnail","23":"post-with-thumbnail-large","25":"first","26":"instock","27":"product-type-simple"},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.georgeglazer.com\/wpmain\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/product\/4429","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.georgeglazer.com\/wpmain\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/product"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.georgeglazer.com\/wpmain\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/product"}],"version-history":[{"count":4,"href":"https:\/\/www.georgeglazer.com\/wpmain\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/product\/4429\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":37452,"href":"https:\/\/www.georgeglazer.com\/wpmain\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/product\/4429\/revisions\/37452"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.georgeglazer.com\/wpmain\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/4430"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.georgeglazer.com\/wpmain\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4429"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"product_brand","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.georgeglazer.com\/wpmain\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/product_brand?post=4429"},{"taxonomy":"product_cat","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.georgeglazer.com\/wpmain\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/product_cat?post=4429"},{"taxonomy":"product_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.georgeglazer.com\/wpmain\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/product_tag?post=4429"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
