Profusely illustrated with documentary photographs and captions presenting a picture of the state&#8217;s economy such as agriculture and the rise of the oil boom. As an interesting aside, <strong>This Is Texas<\/strong> figures in philatelic history \u2014 a photograph of the El Paso Mission in this book was among the sources for the illustration on the Fort Bliss Centennial Issue stamp in 1948. Signed on the inside in facsimile by James V.
