There is a map seller\u2019s stamp below cartouche: \u201cKenney Bros. & Wolkins, Boston, Mass.\u201d Kenney Bros. & Wolkins was the predecessor of Wolkins Company, a school supply manufacturer and distributor founded in 1844. It was known as Kenney Bros. & Wolkins from 1902 to the late 1930s.<\/p>\n
Condition: Generally very good with the usual overall toning and wear. Professionally cleaned and deacidified, largely removing discoloration at bottom and other scattered minor staining. Professionally rebacked on linen stabilizing short tears and flattening soft creases.<\/p>\n
